Ryan Noel serves as the Chief of Staff and Strategic Advisor to the Dean at the School of Education. He manages a skilled team of professionals who lead the school’s facilities, finance, human resources, and information technology departments, as well as a great team of administrative professionals who manage the day-to-day operations of the Dean’s office. Ryan also works closely with the Dean and her leadership team to determine and implement strategic priorities for the school, with a recent focus on recruitment and marketing.
Ryan is a true townie. He was born and raised in Ann Arbor, and earned both his BA and MBA from the University of Michigan. He has worked in financial leadership roles at Pfizer and at a local start-up company before moving to the University of Michigan in 2007 as an administrator in Internal Medicine. He joined the School of Education in 2017. Ryan is also very active in the community, and currently serves as a Trustee of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and the Leslie Science & Nature Center.
