The Brandon Center for the Study of Education Practice

The Brandon Center was designed to be a resource for the School of Education community to meet, work, and collaborate.

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Thursday  8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.  
(8:00a.m. - 7:00 during Spring/Summer)
Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Public Workspaces
Unless being used for a planned special event, public spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and do not require a reservation.

Private Workspaces
Private meeting rooms are available by reservation only for individuals and groups affiliated with the School of Education.  Reservations may be made up to two-weeks in advance by contacting the Brandon Center front desk. See room descriptions using the following links.

Equipment Loan
The Brandon Center offers short-term loan of a variety of equipment for coursework and research. Members of the School of Education community can request equipment by emailing, filling out the online request form, calling, or visiting the Brandon Center front desk.

Small lockers are available in the Living Room area of the Brandon Center for short-term storage of your items throughout the day.  Lockers are secured with a 4-digit passcode of your choice.  Instructions are located at the lockers, or the front desk staff can offer assistance as needed.

Computing and Printing
There are 4 computers, 1 scanner, and 2 printers located in the Brandon Center for your use. Printing is done through This equipment is maintained by ITS Sites Computing. Questions and issues with this equipment should be reported to ITS 4-Help.

Consultation and assistance for students, faculty, and staff is available by full-time instructional support staff.  Full-time staff members are available on a drop-in basis between 8:00 – 5:00 during the week, or by appointment.
