The UM-Diversity Research and Policy Program (DRPP) Evaluation Team (led by Dr. Angela Ebreo and Dr. PhillipBowman) will partner with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Health Policy Research Scholars (HPRS) leadership and staff to implement both formative and outcome evaluation activities. In addition, the UM-DRPP Evaluation Team will attend RWJF meetings related to the evaluation of the four change leadership programs (of which HPRS is a part). As a collaborative stakeholder, the DRPP evaluation team agrees that the evolving HPRS will have increasing national significance for creating a Culture of Health. The priority areas for the UM-DRPP team's work during the 2017-2018 project period include formative evaluation-related activities, outcome evaluation activities, and consultation related to assessment and selection of program scholars. The UM-DRPP evaluation team will also consult with the HPRS leadership team on strategies for improving the HPRS application and review process, including recommendations for incorporating strength-based assessment into the process.
