Malinda M. Matney

Director of Assessment, Center for Research on Learning and Teaching; Adjunct Assistant Professor, Education

Malinda Matney leads teaching and learning assessment as the Director of Assessment for the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching at the University of Michigan. CRLT is the oldest teaching and learning development center in the country, and a leader in the field of professional development for faculty.

Matney is a Past National President of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, the first female to hold the title, and the Nu Chapter Sponsor at the University of Michigan. She received the Distinguished Service to Music Medal for her lifetime educational efforts in the college band community.
