Simona Goldin Nominated for Second Golden Apple Award

Simona Goldin was nominated for a Golden Apple Award for the second year in a row. The Golden Apple Award honors one professor annually for outstanding teaching, and it is the only faculty award at U-M given by students. Each year, the award committee reviews student nominations and comments about the teachers they recommend. One of Dr. Goldin’s students commented: “she was very inspirational to me and helped me open up my perspective as to where a career in education could take me.”
