Monte-Sano and Schleppegrell commence next phase of Library of Congress project


Chauncey Monte-Sano and Mary Schleppegrell received a grant for the next phase of their project, “Using our Nation’s Library to Teach Writing with Primary Sources to All Students” from the Library of Congress's Teaching with Primary Sources program. This phase started on October 1, 2017 and extends through September 30, 2018. The grant is for developing, testing, and revising curriculum resources for middle school social studies focused on disciplinary reasoning and argument writing with primary sources as well as for developing a website to share the curriculum and related teacher learning materials. The original grant began October 1, 2016.
