Michael Bastedo’s research on college admissions featured on Morning Edition


Professor Michael Bastedo’s recent research regarding college admissions decisions was featured on NPR’s Morning Edition on April 12. National Public Radio Social Science Correspondent Shankar Vedantam interviewed Professor Bastedo about the results of a study in which he found that admissions officers were about 25% more likely to admit a low-income applicant when they were provided more context about the student’s high school.
