Alumna Christine Oldenburg-McGee featured by UMCU in Bicentennial Stories Project


Christine Oldenburg-McGee, a recent alumna of the Educational Studies Master’s Program Teaching and Learning strand, was featured in the bicentennial stories project of the University of Michigan Credit Union. Oldenburg-McGee is a Physician Assistant in Trauma Burn Emergency and Acute Care Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

Oldenburg-McGee shared her family’s Michigan story with UMCU. Her parents met at Michigan. Her father was involved with the Alumni Association as a director. In junior high, she sang Michigan songs at alumni meetings as part of a female acapella quartet. Her husband is a Wolverine and her son is currently pursuing a degree in computer science. Christine’s latest celebration of the Bicentennial happened to be walking in the graduation ceremony at the Big House after completing her Master’s degree in Education.
