DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION

Tell Us How Things Are Going

Your experience in our school and school community matters. Classroom and office climate matter. Your interactions with others matter. In order to work with you to build a more inclusive, welcoming, and collaborative community, it is vital that we hear and understand the many perspectives and experiences of SOE community members and those who have an opportunity to visit our school. We deeply value your insights on things that are working, things that need improvement, and things that require immediate attention.

Comments, Praise, Questions, or Concerns

Share your experiences and perspectives with us. What concerns you? What needs improvement? What has gone well? What questions do you have? We want to know. By using this form to comment on how you have experienced diversity, equity, and inclusion in the SOE, we can learn how to do and be better. We can build upon what is going well, resolve puzzling issues, and take action on things that contradict our commitments.

Your comments will be sent to the dean and the Education Diversity Advisory Committee (EDAC).

Note: Your comments can be annonymous. You do not have to submit your name or email.

I want to hear from you.

Elizabeth Birr Moje

Although some faculty members, students, staff members, and visitors might wish to share their experiences and perspectives with me directly, others might prefer a safe, confidential, and anonymous way to contact me. This form is one such way.

The information that you submit using this form will remain anonymous (unless you elect to provide your email address) and will be sent directly to me. I take seriously any information submitted here and hope that you will use this form to share concerns, ask questions, report problematic experiences, and point to things that are working.

I look forward to hearing from you and to continuing our collective efforts to build an inclusive and welcoming community. Of course, if you prefer to contact me directly, I can be reached at moje@umich.edu or 734.647.9571 (office)

If you witness or experience conduct that discriminates, stereotypes, excludes, harasses, or harms anyone in our community based on their identity (such as race, color, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or work status), we want to know, as does the university.
